Hand Printed Linocut Bandana - PREORDER

Over 1500 years ago, the Chinese invented block printing as a way to decorate fabrics for clothing. Today, I am keeping this tradition alive in a modern way. The hand printed linocut bandanas are truly one of a kind. In a world of quick fashion and cheap designs on t-shirts, this piece really stands out as something different. No one will have the same camo as you, or anywhere near as cool. Around where I live, there are a lot of sycamore trees. I love how their bark already looks like came, with the shapes of its peeling bark. On these bandanas you will find over 20 individually inked and stamped limbs, leaves, and seeds. Each block was hand drawn and hand carved. Every little detail thought out. To finish off the pattern, I dyed the bandanas ever so slightly with dye I made from black walnut husks. It is a 100% natural dye for this 100% cotton bandana. These are absolutely beautiful and I am excited to offer them for you.

The bandanas are 100% cotton and are 21"x21", they are of good quality and thicker than your average bandana. Sewn edges. To care for your bandana, I recommend hand washing and hang drying. Second best would be cold wash and hang dry. These may shrink to 20x2" if put in the dryer.

This is a preorder. I will be printing these at the beginning of June. Each bandana takes 4 days of printing to complete since each layer of color needs to dry before I can complete the next color.
